Youth 6-12Dance Program

We help students find their confident and voice through dance. We provide opportunities for our youth dancers to elevate their passion of dance from dancing at home to dancing at our studio with an encouraging and supportive community.


Teen13-17Dance Program

We help students who are interested in Hip-Hop start taking classes and discover themselves in the art form. We provide opportunity for trained dancer to dig deeper within the different Hip-Hop Styles.


college/adult dance program

We help students who danced their entire life but stopped because they moved to college reignite their passion of dance. We also help adults who have always loved to dance but have never taken a class or stop dancing  to discover themselves.


Experienced Teachers in Different Styles of Hip-Hop  


Our teachers are not just teachers but they are also performers and dancers. They compete and perform in different dance showcase nationally and attend conventions training with some of the top Hip-Hop Choreographers in the industry. Recently our Hip-Hop/Tricker teacher Shaq Worsley made it to Vegas as top dancer in the country in the Fox TV show So You Think You Can Dance for the 2nd time. Our Teacher Deo and Destin have performed on the ABC TV show Dancing With The Stars. MFA team have perform all over the country with Deo Mwano speaking tours.



Deo Mwano

Deo is a visionary choreographer and dancer. He is a versatile choreographer and dancer who dances various styles of dance and music. He has been studying dance for over 15 years in the styles of fusion jazz, street jazz, African dance and variety of hip hop styles. He has conducted dance workshops all over the U.S. He has had opportunities to showcase his choreography nationally and internationally. In 2010 Deo appeared in a TV special for the show, Dancing With The Star where he choreographed and performed with his brothers and the professional dancers of the show. Deo Mwano became an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University teaching dance courses that fuse with cultural studies. Two of his special topic courses Evolution of Hip Hop and Theory of Movements and Practicality were very popular for students who wanted to fulfill an Art requirement course. Theory of Movements and Practicality, explored how dance and movements are part of everything we do.


Shaq Worsely

Shaq is a professional dancer, stunt performer, and certified mobile technician. He started as a self-taught dancer in Manchester, NH and have had the opportunity to perform for a variety of different audiences and tv shows. He loves inspiring and being inspired, he feels the most important thing in life is to give back and that is how he tries to live his life each day.


Destin Mwano

Destin started dancing at a very young age. He has developed his own unique style infusing break-dancing, popping, tricking and Krumping. Destin has performed and competed in many different showcases through out the country. He performed on Dancing With The Stars with his brothers. Destin uses dance to motivate and inspire students to stay engaged in their learning. Currently, Destin is working on earning his degree at Southern New Hampshire University and work for Manchester Community Health Center.


Stephanie Brewster

Stephanie started her dancing career at the age of three and began teaching independently in area studios six years ago. Stephanie has an extensive background in recreational and competitive Tap, Jazz, and Ballet dancing, winning several scholarships and awards for her performance and choreography in these styles. Stephanie started her hip hop training as a senior in high school and continues to attend workshops and master classes in order to broaden her hip hop education and deepen her passion for this style of movement. Stephanie is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s Nutrition and Dietetics Program and completed a year dietetic internship at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. When Stephanie is not dancing, she can be found studying for the national board exam to become a Registered Dietitian!

Our Work

Youth Class, we inspire students to be authentic and personalize the delivery of the choreography. This video was taken from our annual summer intensive working with students from different studio in New Hampshire.

Movement From Above has a great relationship with Manchester School District. Sometimes we collaborate with BRINGIT!! to surprise students with a little performance at their schools.

Community involvement is very important for Movement From Above. We collaborate with different community partners to host free classes to the community. This was a partnership with Manchester Christian Church at their One Day of Community event.
